DAY 200// A REFLECTION

I remember when I took a similar set of photos with Isaac and I realized I could see my reflection in his eye.
I remember how much it freaked me out and made me feel this crazy amount of responsibility.
And, it’s still true.

It’s kind of the prayer of every parent, isn’t it?
To help your kids grow up well, to love God, and to love other people.
But, also to be a reflection of the best parts of you.

One of my regular prayers for both of my kids is that they would be better people than I am.
Everyday I pray for them.
Everyday I pray for me.
Everyday I pray.
That’s all I know how to do.
