DAY 30//
As if having me in the house incessantly taking pictures of her wasn’t enough, our friend Kristin came over this AM to taking some “newborn” pics of our little Ella and the family. You’ll see an update with some pics from her when we get them. We’re really excited to see them.
The morning’s festivities clearly tuckered her out.
Then, Great-Grandpa came over. His first late wife is one of the women than Ella gets her middle name from. As I told Great-Grandpa this he commented on how much Ella’s complexion reminded him of Anne (my grandmother). Just another neat little touch to Ella’s story.
DAY 29// 1ST DONUT DAY WITH DAD
Every Friday for the last year and a half or so Isaac and I have gone to the local Daylight Donuts to have a special breakfast. Today we brought the girls with us for Ella’s first “taste” of the sugar rush. Granted her’s was more of a contact buzz than actually ingestion induced, but it was still a fun morning. Angie was kind enough to take the pics on her iPhone to document the re-beginning of a Dad & kid tradition.
Legal disclaimer – She’s just holing Isaac’s chocolate milk. We still haven’t legally finalized the adoption yet, so we don’t want to give anyone the impression that we think it would at all be a good idea for us to feed chocolate milk to an infant.
